I'm loving Black Rock and its 1970 setting. I was 15 years old and living in NDG then. Your descriptions of Montreal geography and its streets have brought back many memories. As you can tell from my last name, I'm oh so familiar with the Dog-eh-dee Quebec pronunciation. My Quebec Dougherty roots go back to the 19th century Eastern Townships, and Montreal of course. Your second Eddie Dougherty mystery is next on my reading list. You should tweet more. Just saying.
