Isn't that cool

A Christmas present from a friend in Japan.

I've been making my way through the French edition of Killshot, though it's taking me a long time. I'll never be able to read Japanese, but it's a very cool addition to my collection.

I'm still working on the Bouchercon "fiction" but I've been busy taking meetings with TV guys about possibly joining the writing team of a new Canadian cop show. Looks very interesting, quite a new take on the cop show, possibly very controversial. More soon....

Good luck on that project, you sadistic so and so. Now I'm salivating for the next part of McFetridge's Meta-Bouchercon and for details of the controversial project. Keep us posted.

Very cool. It's also good to see the complete Western stories. Can I assume a Leonard devotee such as yourself has read HOMBRE? I think it might be his book, regardless of genre.

That Japanese Out of Sight is pretty cool. Your shelf of Elmore
Leonard books reminded me that I need to pick up Stick. Also, hopefully you will get to join that show's writing team. Now that would be cool.

thats a pretty impressive collection.

Did you ever have a beer with Elmore?

Dana, I haven't read Hombre. I haven't read many of the westerns, but the short story collection (there on the right) is excellent, so I imagine I'll read them soon.

Adrian, I've stood in line at bookstores and had Elmore sign books for me and I had a beer in Detroit with his researcher, Gregg Sutter, a great guy

Next May a bunch of us are going to meet in Detroit for the launch of Elmore's new book, Road Dogs, want to come along? (that goes for everyone here, of course).

That looks very similar to the brilliant old style Leonard covers we had over here in the UK with the bright primary colours and so forth... brilliant.

And... oh, this news sounds very cool for you - - best of the luck with the project and the best TV shows are always controversial!
