I'm very excited to announce Noir at the Bar Toronto featuring Howard Shrier and Sean Chercover. Peter Rozovsky will be asking very tough, insightful questions (if his Noir at the Bar in Philadelphia with me and Declan is any indication).
Tuesday, March 10th at
Scotland Yard Pub,56 The Esplanade, one block east of Yonge Street and one block south of Front Street.
7:30 pm.
Should be fun.

Count me in, John. I just found out I'm a huge fan of Chercover. It'll be cool to hear what he has to say.
John,
I'm terribly sorry to have missed the Philly outing. The wife and I would have come but we had prior obligations. Hope this one is every bit as fun.
Christ on large bike, that's quite a build-up and quite a poster to live up to.

Sounds like a blast. I have become a Chercover fan after reading his tough as nails short story in Hardcore Hardboiled. Make sure you take some pics and have a few drinks for those of us missing out.

I hope you dont stand for any of Peter's nonsense. Any insolent questions and its the old 1 2 to the floor. He can get away with that in Philly or Wire City but he doesnt come into your town and start mouthing off...
Not to worry, Adrian. My years in the U.S. may have given me a loud, obnoxious veneer, but scrape it off, and I remain the polite, self-effacing Canadian.

I dont know, I've seen those hockey players fight, that doesnt look like play acting to me.
Hockey players fight on the ice, but after the game, they get together for beer and soft food like old friends.
