Do you have a date for Swap?

I'm intent on reading Dirty Sweet next once I'm done with my current book......I might be late to the party but better late than never!

Sorry , I also meant to ask did you ever get anywhere with the OLD FIRM/ MO JOHNSON thing you were thinking about last year?

"September" is the most I can get as a publication date for Swap. And that's just the Canadian publication. I'm still trying to get a UK deal for my books, but I think crime fiction to the UK is coals to Newcastle at the moment.

And thanks for asking about my Mo Johnson story. Our team here has a supporters' group called the Red Patch Boys which has members from both Old Firm groups - a real Canadian thing, I think. Anyway, I'm going to try and make it work as a short story first, I think the title Red Patch fits crime fiction...

That trailer is the best of the three for a number of reasons. The yellow font colour stands out and ties into the yellow in the book cover. The new music, although not as cool and catchy as the old music, is less distracting. It doesn't draw your attention away from the words. The only thing I would change is the placement of the sentence that ends in underwater. I'd move it up a tad. That is just me not liking text to dip onto letterboxing though.

It occurred to me as I was lying in bed that you might take that comment as a comment on the quality of the trailer and not a comment on that I'd crossed the Ambassador Bridge. Wanted to clear that up. This is why I have insomnia.

Patti, I have insomnia, too, but that wasn't what was keeping me up last night!

I hadn't thought of anything other than the fact you've been over that bridge an awful lot. When you go to Stratford, do you drive up to Port Huron and cross there?

Yes, we go that way. The Blue Water Bridge is quicker from my house. Less than three hours and my pulse slows down. I often think about moving to Stratford. Maybe I could seat people at the Festival Theater in my dotage.
